What is Linear Bearings?

The linear bearing or linear-motion bearing is a type of bearing designed to offer free motion in a particular direction. These are the bearings that bear support of the load of the carriage during the single-axis linear movement. It will provide a low-friction sliding surface for the guide rails. In a linear guide, the carriage is the equipment that travels in the straight line, back & forth that is along the length of the guide rail. This guide rail is fitted to the linear bearing.
